Clinical Services

Clinical care for Blackburn clients is provided by Blackburn Clinical Services, our sister outpatient therapy and psychiatry practice at 12326 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066. Long-term healing takes more than a sober environment. Blackburn Clinical Services provides therapy, psychiatry and family support that work hand in hand with our mentoring, case management, sober living and wellness programs.

Therapy

Therapy at Blackburn Clinical Services takes place in the office. Licensed therapists address underlying issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression and substance use, using evidence-based approaches that build resilience and long-term stability.

Psychiatry

Psychiatric providers at Blackburn Clinical Services assess and treat co-occurring conditions through careful evaluation and medication management, working closely with the rest of the Blackburn team.

Family services

Addiction affects the whole family, and healing should too. Coaching, education and intensive workshops help families rebuild trust, improve communication and become part of the recovery team.

Why integration matters

Therapists, psychiatrists and case managers plan care together, and families stay aligned with treatment goals. One coordinated team means clear communication and lasting progress.

Who clinical services are for

Clinical care is for anyone whose recovery is affected by more than substance use alone. Clients often come to us for:

  • Anxiety, depression or trauma alongside addiction
  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication management for co-occurring conditions
  • Ongoing therapy while living in sober living or working with a mentor
  • Families who want to understand addiction and rebuild trust and communication

How clinical care fits with the rest of Blackburn

Most people who struggle with addiction are also dealing with something underneath it. Treating only the substance use leaves the rest unaddressed. Because our clinical team shares clients with our mentors, case managers and sober living staff, care plans stay connected and changes in one area are reflected in the others.

For clients, that means fewer gaps, less repeating their story to new providers and one team that knows the whole picture.
